Hurricane Boule large is hand-blown in Bohemia, home to the world's best glassblowers. The bubbles, created in a cast-iron mould, give Hurricane Boule its own unique optic pattern and a luxurious weighty feel. Combined with Boule Regular and Boule Mini in an array of colours, the set creates an amazing table setting. Boule Large can also be displayed individually as a beautiful vase for flowers.
Hurricane Boule Large is 18 cm in height and 13 cm in diameter. Weight is approx. 2,7 – 3,5 kg. We recommend a 5 cm in diameter paraffin tealight or candle in the same size.

All hurricanes should be hand washed separately in warm soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried with a lint free cloth.
Our Lanterns are made of glass and crystal, which makes them fragile and should therefore be handled with extra care.
Our lanterns must be cleaned by hand and cannot be washed in the dishwasher. The important thing to think about before you clean one of our lanterns is to make sure that your lantern has cooled down completely, otherwise there is a risk of it breaking.
When cleaning the inside of the candle lantern, wash it with lukewarm water and mild detergent and remember to use a soft sponge or dish brush.
To clean the outside, use a soft dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using sharp objects, chemicals or extensive polishing as this may damage the surface.
Do not expose your Hurricane to extreme temperature changes, for example a lamp that has been left outside or in a drafty window should not be cleaned with hot water before it has reached room temperature.
If you need to remove paraffin from the inside, fill the lantern halfway with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and then let it work for about 10 minutes. The paraffin softens and thus becomes easy to remove with a wooden spoon or corkscrew.
For all our lanterns we recommend paraffin candles instead of 100% candle wax as paraffin has a higher melting point.
